About the exchange
Riga Stock Exchange and Latvian Central Depository group is an operator of securities market infrastructure in Latvia. Through these two enterprises, market participants are provided with an environment for carrying out transactions with securities, clearing and settlement of securities transactions, listing of securities, operating of central securities register and funded pension fund register in Latvia.
Riga Stock Exchange and Latvian Central Depository group is a part of OMHEX's HEX Integrated Markets division. HEX Integrated Markets is northern Europe's largest securities market. Through its exchange operations within Stockholmsbörsen, HEX Helsinki, HEX Tallinn and Riga Stock Exchange it offers investors access to 80 percent of the Nordic equity market and 75 percent of the Baltic equity market. HEX Integrated Markets also operates CSD's in Finland, Estonia and Latvia.
