Hannover Re Africa pursues a strategy of sound technical underwriting, specialising in providing non proportional capacity to Non Life Insurance companies and Quota Share support to Niche and Specialist Underwriters. Within this mandate the company has significant capacity with a high degree of local authority and responsiveness, and the support of one of the largest reinsurance companies in the world. Hannover Life Reassurance Africa Hannover Life Re Africa fosters relationships with leading life and health insurers in the sub-Saharan region, and offers its clients a broad range of reinsurance solutions, ranging from Financial to Individual Life reinsurance and from Group Life to Disability products. Our strength lies in our passion for innovative and progressive reinsurance structures for the Life and Health industry. Lireas Holdings Lireas Holdings is an investment holding company for insurance-related investments. Mahogany Capital, a private equity company, owns 49% of Lireas, which gives Lireas access to additional expertise as well as a strong black economic partner that is already active in venture capital funding. Lireas in turn provides the Hannover Re Africa Group with access to specialised niche markets, as well as a diversified source of income. |
