The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of South Africa (CPA) provides a home for professionally qualified accountants, in practice and commerce and industry. The majority of our members offer accounting and allied services to the general public, and to business entities, ranging from large organisations to small, owner-managed businesses. CPA members are also engaged in commerce and industry, and in the public sector, where their professional training and affiliation is valued by their employers.
As professionals, our members are subject to rules of professional conduct and a strict code of ethics. This protects the users of their services, and helps to preserve the integrity of the profession.
